Great question! A travel advisor is perfect for someone who does not have the time to spend searching for great vacation spot, what there is to do, or does not enjoy planning. You get the fun of going on vacation but not the burden of planning.
Can I not book my own vacation?
Of course you can! Plenty of people do this. What a travel advisor does is more than book your vacation. They create a customized itinerary for you and your travel party that fits your budget and what you want from your vacation. Using reliable sources, you can feel confident in the places you stay and activities you do.
Is this a cheaper option for my vacation?
No, not necessarily. Occasionally travel advisors will receive exclusive discounts or deals, but that’s not typically the case. You can find vacation deals through third-party websites which are more cost effective, but third-parties are not very reliable. You do not have direct access to the company you are booking with and many issues can come up if using those sites such as not being notified if your flight is canceled or your hotel reservation not showing up in the system when you reach your destination.

As your travel advisor, I am with you from the initial consultation all the way through travel until you get home. Any questions you have or problems, I am here to help. My goal is for you to have the best vacation and want to make sure that happens.
